Sopore (Jammu and Kashmir), Jun 01 (ANI): After the encounter of two terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore on early Thursday morning, Commanding Officer of 22 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Tapan Vaishnav stated that the security forces gave the militants option to surrender but they refused and fired continuously. He further added that two AK47 rifles, five magazines and 107 rounds of ammunition have been recovered from the slained terrorists. The gunned down militants have been identified as Basharat Ahmed Sheikh and Aijaz Ahmed Mir. In another incident, four officials were injured after a group of terrorists hurled grenade at them in Sopore yesterday.
